Missouri State Fair

For the past two years, Socket has sponsored the Pig Races at the Annual Missouri State Fair. It is a hootin' hollerin' good time every year, and we can't wait to do it again!

We'll be at the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia from August 12-22. Come watch the pigs fly (not literally of course). Eat delicious food (Funnel cake, yum!). And have FUN like only the fair can deliver!

There are several exciting concerts coming this year, and we'll have a chance for you to win tickets. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages for more info.

Show-Me State Games Village

Socket participated at the Olympic-style festival in support of Missouri sports on July 16th-17th at the Hearnes Center. It was the introduction of "The Village", where vendors passed out swag and chatted with attendees. For more info, visit Show-Me State Games Village .

Both Friday and Saturday were scorchers, but participants kept cool with the McAllister's ice tea and fans provided by the Missouri Lottery.

Kickballapalooza

Socket participated in Kickballapalooza, sponsored by the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, on July 15th. We won our first game versus Delta Systems (an awesome customer of ours). The score was 5 to 3. Our second game did not go as well, however. We lost 5 to 0 against Bucket Media (also an awesome customer of ours). Bucket Media went on to win the entire tournament.

It was a great time, and we look forward to participating again next year. Maybe we'll practice a little more thought.
