December 2004- Socket Dial-Up Internet Now Available Nationwide!

Customers can now access their Socket dial-up account across the nation.

Socket Internet's dial-up Internet service is now available in every state across the nation, excluding Alaska.

Socket still has the largest network throughout Missouri, but now dial-up service is accessible in over 3,300 cities in other states, including most major cities.

How does this new nationwide access benefit Socket customers? Every customer who has dial-up service has the ability to use this nationwide access at no extra charge. Simply call our customer service department toll-free at 1-800-SOCKET-3 (800-762-5383) and tell them what city you need access in. They will provide you with the city's local dial-up modem number for your computer to use and our technical department can show you how to change your number over the phone. It's easy!

For those people who travel for business or pleasure with a laptop computer, you can use your Socket account to get online while you are out-of-town.

Are you moving to a different state? Moving your home is hassle enough. Now you don't have to worry about finding a new Internet Service Provider too. Just give us a call and we can move your dial-up account with your computer. Our technical department will walk you through setting up a new modem number on your computer that is local to your new home.

Have a student at an out-of-state college? If your kids are in college and need Internet access, you can keep the convenience of paying one bill by adding an additional dial-up with your current Socket account.
