| Adjust Font Socket honors Flat River nativeFlat River native Chris Green was recently honored as the recipient of Socket's You-Make-the- Difference award. Each month, the Missouri telephone and Internet provider asks its employees to nominate co-workers for the award and then vote on one winner who best reflects Socket's Core Values and Beliefs. Green joined Socket in October 2009 as a consumer sales representative. He enjoys helping new and existing Socket customers with account and billing inquiries. "It's a great feeling to know that I make the difference," said Green. "I just really like talking to people." Green attended college in Springfield, Mo. and moved to Columbia about two years ago. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering and spending time with friends.
